Heather J. Hepburn
Professional Experience
Heather rejoined Karnopp Petersen in 2007 and focuses her practice on business and real estate law. Prior to returning to Karnopp Petersen, Heather served as general counsel for a real estate and tax deferred exchange company with over ten offices. In addition to providing the company with legal services, Heather acted as the local Branch Manager. When Heather previously practiced at Karnopp Petersen, from 2003 to 2006, her practice focused mainly on litigation and business. During law school, Heather was a staff editor of the Oregon Law Review and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Ann Aiken, United States District Judge in the District of Oregon.
Professional and Community Activities
Heather is a member of the Deschutes County Bar Association, Cascade Women Lawyers and the Oregon State Bar’s Real Estate and Business sections, and is a Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NEW) member.
Personal Interests
Outside the office, Heather enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their three daughters.
