Karnopp Petersen LLP is pleased to announce the election of Jennilyn Aston and Annie Nelson as new partners of the firm.

Aston joined Karnopp Petersen in 2015 and serves as Chair of the firm’s Business Department. Her practice is focused on business and real estate transactions, business organizations and corporate governance, intellectual property, technology-related agreements, and state and federal trademark work. Aston’s experience includes advising businesses, property owners, and individuals from a number of different industries, including manufacturing, technology and software, medical and dental practices, education, and real estate. Aston earned her J.D., cum laude, from Willamette University College of Law and a B.A. in Liberal Studies, magna cum laude, from Oregon State University.
Nelson has been with the firm since 2012 and practices primarily in the area of Trust and Estates. She regularly advises clients in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust administration, and also counsels clients with respect to establishing guardianships and conservatorships. Nelson is a member of the Oregon State Bar Estate Planning and Business Law Sections, Deschutes County Bar Association, Oregon Women Lawyers, and Cascade Women Lawyers. Nelson earned her J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School and a B.S. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Oregon State University.
