Announcing the Karnopp Petersen Donor Advised Fund Benefitting the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Reservation of Oregon
Since 1955, generations of Karnopp Petersen lawyers have been providing legal services to the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs assisting to defend and enhance its sovereignty, treaty-reserved rights, and culture. More recently, we have established a donor-advised fund with the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) benefitting the Tribes. The purpose of the fund is two-fold. First, we aim to optimize the impact of the firm’s charitable giving to the Tribes. Second, we seek to attract charitable capital from others who wish to help the Tribe. We hope that our long-standing relationship with the Tribes, combined with OCF’s well-earned reputation in managing donor-advised funds will give our fund the endorsement for others who wish to give to the Tribes.
Our Fund focuses on education, leadership development, and cultural protection and enhancement; in short, we endeavor to invest in the people of The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs in support of their efforts to self-determine their future. Please consider joining us.
Karnopp Petersen invites the community to support its charitable fund with the Oregon Community Foundation and will match all donations made to the program up to $5,000.
