Annie joined Karnopp Petersen in 2012 and is a partner in the Estate Planning department.
Practice Areas
Annie is a partner in the Trust and Estates Department of Karnopp Petersen. She regularly advises clients in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust administration, and also counsels clients with respect to establishing guardianships and conservatorships.
Annie earned her law degree from the Northwestern School of Law, Lewis & Clark College, in 2011. While in law school, she served as a judicial intern, worked as a law clerk at a firm specializing in business law and estate planning, and participated in the law school’s low-income taxpayer clinic. In addition, Annie was elected as the executive editor of the Lewis and Clark Law Review. Following law school, Annie and her husband moved to Bend, and Annie began working at Karnopp Petersen in 2012.
Professional & Community Activities
Annie is a member of the Oregon State Bar Estate Planning Section, Deschutes County Bar Association, Oregon Women Lawyers, and Cascade Women Lawyers. She has previously served as President of the J.R. Campbell American Inns of Court and has volunteered her time with Junior Achievement and Constitution in the Classroom. Annie is a graduate of the Bend Chamber’s Leadership Bend program, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors for KIDS Center.
